Synopsis

Currently imprisoned Iranian filmmaker Navid Mihandoust presents the self-referential story of a director who lives surrounded by uncertainties while waiting to be sentenced and taken to prison. Mihandoust made the film while out on bail, without obtaining permission from the authorities, as he was convinced that cinema and art have a world of their own beyond the permissions of temporary rulers. The week before the film’s release, it was reported that he had been transferred to solitary confinement in Tehran’s dreaded Evin Prison.
