After years of being scarred by PTSD, five men and two women veterans of the Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq wars travel to the heart of the Peruvian Amazon to participate in shamanic ceremonies and heal their trauma. For them, PTSD has become an invisible wound that traditional medicine has not been able to heal. Frustrated with a society that does not understand them, and unable to get answers from conventional treatment methods, they decide to embark on a journey of transformation that will change their lives forever.
