Daniel Posada
Daniel is a film and television director, producer and showrunner who has filmed projects in Mexico, the United States and Colombia. At the beginning of his career he worked mainly in independent cinema with ten films produced; among them stand out titles such as “Opening Night” (2016), and “Bound to Vengeance” (2015); the latter, part of the Official Selection of the Sundance Film Festival. His most outstanding work has been the political thriller “El Chapo” (Netflix Original, 2018) with three seasons, and which achieved the first place of most watched Spanish-language series on the entire Netflix platform. During 2017 and 2018 he worked as Creator and Showrunner of the series “Tijuana” (Netflix), in addition to sharing credits as director and screenwriter. Daniel was also Showrunner in the production of a new series for BTF Media, a crime thriller called “La Muchacha Que Limpia” released by HBO MAX in 2021. “The Other Side” (2023), will be his first feature film as a director.
