In 1550, in Valladolid, Fra Bartolomé de las Casas and Juan Ginés de Sepúlveda, advisor to Charles V, debate before a theological-legal tribunal about where the rights of the Spanish colonizers end and those of the colonized, the American natives, begin. Almost a century later, a group of experts analyzes what is considered to be the first debate in history on human rights.

Juan Rodríguez-Briso, Viviana González Delfino
He studied at the Film School of the National University of Tucumán (Argentina). He began his career as a director and producer of short films with “Encuentros”, followed by “Desayuno”, “La Duda” and “Mis Huevos”, while his screenplay “The Bastard” was a finalist in the Amazon Studios contest in 2010. In 2012 he wrote and produced the feature film “30 Días Antes”, Spanish-Argentine co-production awarded as Best Film at the New Horizon International Film Festival in Iran and Best Editing at the Peloponès Film Festival (Greece). In 2015 he wrote, directed and produced the documentary “Eighteam”, exhibited at Cannes and awarded in five international festivals.
