Djina’s prison memoirs, the remembrances of people who witnessed her life after the return from the prison camp, the imaginations and reflections of several young, contemporary Montenegrin artists lead us to the island-camp of St. Gregory. On this island more than 600 Yugoslav women were exposed to humiliation and torture from 1949 to 1952. Many of them died there, most of the rest never recovered.
