What begins as the cinematographic accompaniment of a graffiti workshop in the slums of Dhaka evolves into a real documentary thriller about the real scourge of the country: the corrupt Bangladeshi elite, which enriches itself at the expense of the poverty of its inhabitants. Painting Dhaka is a film about power and powerlessness, and how to overcome them through the emancipating power of art.
