Adrian Madikisa
Cape Town-based filmmaker with a deep passion for documentary filmmaking. He currently works in the film industry as a second camera assistant. Adrian believes that photography and film are one of the few ways that allow us a glimpse into the life of another human being. Being able to see someone elseās reality is one of the greatest means to foster understanding and tolerance, and to appreciate the beauty of our diversity.
In addition to having worked in the film industry for over 7 years, Adrian has also been selected as a participant in the Bertha Mobile Spaces film fest, which comprised of 10 filmmakers from South Africa, and 10 from Istanbul. Adrian is also one of the co-founders of Pursuit of Humanity is a film collective that used mixed media as a tool for social good by highlighting social inequality, injustices and the plight of ordinary, unseen individuals. Adrian also had the opportunity to work on international film sets in Morocco. And has experience working on projects in Germany with the theme of youth employability.
