Laura Dauden, Miguel Angel Herrera
Laura Dauden is a Brazilian director, screenwriter, and producer based in Catalonia. She is a member of Cima (Association of Women Filmmakers and Audiovisual Media in Spain), Dones Visuals, and EWA (European Women’s Audiovisual Network). Miguel Angel Herrera is a Colombian director, DOP and editor. In recent years, he has produced several awarded documentaries and campaigns for international organizations. He is a member of Docma (Spanish Documentary Film Association). In 2012, Laura and Miguel founded Forward Films, an independent documentary production company focused on gender, environmental and human rights issues. Their recent filmography includes “Unsubmissive” (2023), “Occupation Inc.” (2020), “The Hosts” (2020), and “Free Motherhood”. Their films have been seen at festivals such as the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, the Malaga Film Festival, the São Paulo International Film Festival, and the San Sebastián International Human Rights Films Festival.
