Curtis was only 22 years old when he was sentenced to death for a crime he had not committed. He spent more than twenty years in prison in Oklahoma, most of them on death row awaiting execution, until he was finally released. Without help or support, he now faces a new challenge: to survive in a society that does not accept him.

• DANI VILARÒ: director of comunication at Amnistia Internacional Catalunya.

• ALBERT MARQUÉS: (streaming) Catalan pianist based in the United States and co-creator of the album Freedom First, composed together with the American prisoner and death row inmate Keith LaMar, with the aim of fighting in defense of the abolition of capital punishment.

Moderated by LAURA GALVE, journalist and activity coordinator at Associació Impacte Cinema i Drets Humans.
