Synopsis

For more than 50 years, national and international oil companies have been extracting oil from the most biodiverse area of the world, the Amazon. With the complicity of the Ecuadorian Government, they threaten the lives of indigenous communities. They are the so-called Sacrifice zones.

Nagore Eceiza is a director, editor, director of photography, and colorist. She founded El Santo Films, where she produces documentaries and offers audiovisual services for film and television. Very identified with the social documentary genre, she has participated in film productions in Newfoundland, the Ecuadorian Amazon, Cape Verde, Paris, Algeria, Israel, Ethiopia, Angola, Mozambique, Mexico, India and Puerto Rico.
