Synopsis

Micheline, 81, dreams of orgasms and tells anyone who will listen that she is burning with desire. Francis, 70, a tireless activist, challenges the taboos surrounding old age. Yves, 68, feels like a shell in a stormy sea and desperately seeks love. In a world that underestimates the power of elderly people, these three are part of a group of activists who defy prejudice, dare to reinvent sexuality and love, and rethink old age.

In 2009, Alexis Taillant directed his first documentary, Virages, produced by the company Le Miroir and broadcast on France Televisions in France. The film follows six road accident victims and tells the story of the metamorphosis of their lives. In 2015, he directed the documentary Stendhal’s Vertigo co-produced with Italy and Belgium and broadcast on RTBF, France Televisions, RSI and RTS. The film presents the Stendhal syndrome, a strange art- related disease. The film selected is his third documentary.
