Synopsis

Lado, a young Georgian man, smuggles antique Georgian furniture into Russia. Tired of his immaturity, Lado’s girlfriend Medea buys an apartment in the historic center of St. Petersburg. The rent for her apartment is cheap because the apartment comes with its owner, Vadim Vadimich, a temperamental old man. At one point, the Russian government illegally deports thousands of Georgians, Lado among them. The antique store is raided while Medea hides in Vadim’s apartment.
