Lorena Ares and Carlos F. De Vigo co-manage the studios Dr. Platypus & Ms. Wombat. Carlos’ first feature film is the 2D animated film “Memorias de un hombre en pijama”, nominated for the Goya and Platino Awards, among others, and winner of the Gaudí Award. He is the director and screenwriter of the animated short film ‘Morti’, with more than 20 selections. Carlos has collaborated on more than a dozen feature films. Lorena has worked as an animator in films such as ‘Midnight’s Summer Dream’, ‘The Spirit of the Forest’ and ‘Holy Night! Her first film, “Hanna and the Monsters” has received Goya and Gaudi nominations. Together, they directed ‘Alba la noche más larga’, nominated for a Goya and winner of the Silver Biznaga at the Malaga Film Festival.
